The roots of CoreTech System extend to the origins of the Metal Core Technology (MCT) process. From the mid '70's current CTS staff have been directly involved in the development and global exposure of this production proven manufacturing discipline. Commencing with the European based Fry's Metals, Ltd. and Electrovert-MDD, both Cookson Plc companies, the technology and proprietary core manufacturing equipment and melt-out systems were successfully brought to the automotive markets in Europe and the United States, these generally for the production of one piece plastic air intake manifolds.

New direction into other markets such as aerospace, recreational, pump and other general industries spearheaded the formation of CoreTech Associates in 1995 and more recently CoreTech Systems, which carries on the role of providing engineering, tooling and equipment to the World's markets from its Rhode Island based operation.
